Bryan Moffitt, JD, MBA, MEd, LPC, Ph.D

Executive Director

Bryan has worked in the counseling field since 1992 and has been in management since 1998. His areas of work are in individual counseling, couples counseling, and in creating access to services for the public. He teaches in the counseling program at Wayland Baptist and at ENMU. Bryan is currently not taking new clients.

Cristy Martinez, LPC

Cristy specializes in working with survivors of sex trafficking and sexual assault. She is also experienced in helping those with PTSD, substance abuse issues, problems with interpersonal relationships, and in developing self-care/wellness plans. Cristy is trained in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), and Motivational Interviewing for CSEY Responders. 

Cristy conducts information-based presentations in the community on sex trafficking. Counseling hours vary; message for appointment.

Terri Beard, LPC

Terri enjoys working with individuals, couples and adolescents in their transitions in life, relationships, depression/anxiety, stress, grief and loss. She also provides LGBTQIA and affirmative therapy, in that clients who are members of this population will encounter a loving, open and non-oppressive environment. Terri is trained in EMDR therapy (an interactive psychotherapy technique) used to relieve psychological stress for clients who may be experiencing PTSD and/or working through past trauma.

Terri only provides REMOTE counseling sessions.

Jonathan Byrd, LPC

During our lifetime we will find ourselves dealing with circumstances that feel like they are beyond our control. I enjoy assisting others with navigating the unfamiliar terrain along their journey by offering support and assisting in developing self-care regimes that address symptoms related to anxiety, depression, addiction/substance abuse, stress, trauma and much more. Life is a journey, let's make the most of it. Jonathan accepts Firstcare, Amerigroup, and Superior Medicaid.

Master's Level Interns (Students)

These counselors are working on their Master’s degree in counseling at Texas Tech, Wayland Baptist, LCU, ENMU or another university.  These counselors are available 9 a.m. -9 p.m. with some limited weekend openings.

Margie Martinez, LPC

Margie is a Spanish-speaking Licensed Professional Counselor who works with individuals, children, adolescents, families, and couples.  She deals with PTSD, sexual abuse, addiction, parenting, career, and general mental health issues and can provide faith-based counseling, as well. She is available 3-7 p.m. M-F and accepts Firstcare, Amerigroup, and Superior Medicaid.

Ramona Gayle Jefferson, LPC

R. Gayle Jefferson, Ph.D., is a Licensed Professional Counselor.  She counsels and facilitates therapy for adults, adolescents, and children with a variety of counseling issues. She schedules appointments Thursday-Sunday 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., and accepts affordable fees and Superior and Firstcare Medicaid.

Shari Sawyer, LPC

Shari sees adults, children, families, and couples.  She works with a wide variety of mental health issues. She is available after 5 and on weekends and accepts Firstcare, Amerigroup, and Superior Medicaid.

LPC-Associates

LPC-Associates have completed a Master’s degree in counseling and are working on accumulating 3000 hours towards licensure as a LPC.  These counselors are available between 8-5 and they have a some limited after 5 and weekends openings. The cost to see a LPC Associate is $20 per session.
